I'm a tea addict.
I've grown to accept the fact that coffee will never be my calling, and I'm okay with that! Have you ever walked pass a David's tea and double-backed just to get another whiff of that amazing smell? Me too.
There are some people in the world who appreciate tea to the point of near obsession, I like to call them teaholics. This list is for them, and the friends they like to drag along for the ride.
Windsor Arms Hotel
The Tea Room
A delicious and modern take on high tea in the city. The Windsor Arms Tea Room is my absolute favourite when I want to spend a Sunday afternoon gossiping with friends like a proper English lady. Their tea selection has something for everyone, they even have a few options that kids will love!. We ordered the Twilight Tea (TwilightOrganic Chamomile, Organic Lavender & Organic China Black), Chamomile and Fruit Medly (Apricot and Apple Fruit Blend). They also have freshly baked scones sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and served with devon cream and house-made preserves, they were light, fresh and buttery. Along with their petites four plates and a glass of champagne, just to give the afternoon a bit more of a kick, Toronto tea lovers can feel safe and at home at The Windsor Arms Tea Room.
Don't Miss The Coffee & Tea Expo
For only $15.00 you and your friends can enjoy free drink samples, experience the tea and coffee culture that draws in so many each day and meet some of the best Toronto tea experts at the Coffee & Tea Expo (April 8-9 2017). Sure, coffee lovers will be there too, but that's what I love about this expo! Never took yourself for a coffee person? Maybe you'll encounter some brews smoother than your best pick-up line. Coffee lovers are also bound to feel the mellow when they taste what some of these amazing tea vendors have to offer. Don't wait to buy your ticket!
I don't like to play favourites...but Turmeric Teas is my favourite. Loaded with health benefits, Turmeric Teas is operating on a completely different level. Follow their Instagram page for your daily dose of tea pics and factual information on the health benefits associated with it.
Did you know: Curcumin, an active ingredient in turmeric, has potent anti-inflammatory properties making turmeric a perfect supplement for people suffering from joint pain or arthritis.
